WHOLE OF PARISH / EXTENDED LICENCES

As a result of a number of requests, we are now offering an extension to our existing Annual Restricted Religious Worship Copyright Licence and the Annual Restricted Religious Music Copyright Licence. As you are aware these licences are specific to your premises and organization.

With changes in the form of worship and the development of small group worship as well the need to cover copies used by atechists in various locations within the parish, we have devised a Parish licence which covers the use of copies of words and melody line (or music) by parish groups within the parish boundaries. These licence's are limited to local parish groups such as prayer groups, those participating in home masses etc. It does not cover schools or convents or other separate organizations who are located within the parish. However, if a school is built on the same premises as the church and the school is owned by the church, then the school can be covered by a "Whole of Parish/Extended" copyright licence held by the church.
 
In summary, it expands your existing cover to the Church plus other worshiper owned locations or other church centers outside the main church, but within the parish boundaries, and it covers copying for worship within the church plus copying for worship by parish related groups , within the parish at parish owned venue's or congregational homes.
 
These licences are an extension to your existing or new licences. For existing licences there will be no need to change your current licence number, we will simply add an "E" to the end of your licence if you wish to avail yourself of this licence extension, ie:- if your current licence number is 1234 your new licence number will be 1234E. Of course if you do not wish to obtain an extended licence, you can just renew your existing licence as it is.
